The Triton Inn forms part of the estate village of Sledmere set in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds.
Surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside, Sledmere is the ideal location for exploring some of the area's best kept secrets but yet is still only less than 20 miles from the rugged Yorkshire coast and its ever popular seaside attractions at Scarborough and Bridlington, and only 26 miles to the ancient and historic city of York.
Sledmere House, the Stately home to Sir Tatton Sykes, is only a few hundred yards away and is open to the public from easter to late Autumn; it is a must for visitors to the area.

Pool, Darts and Dominoes
We have a Pool Room and a very active Darts and Dominoes team.
Fancy a game? We are a very friendly lot here in Yorkshire, just say the word and join in.
Please be aware that it is a condition of our license that children are not allowed in the Pool room.
Pets
Sorry but for the comfort of all our guests we don’t allow pets in the pub.
Smoking
Smoking is strictly forbidden throughout the entire premises including the toilets.
Anyone found smoking will be asked to leave.
Children
Children are welcome until 8pm in the evening. Please note that we don’t have a separate kids menu but we will happily arrange for smaller portions from the main menu for them. In extreme emergencies we have a bag of chicken nuggets hidden in the freezer!
